St. Simons Island summers feature two concert series where guests enjoy ocean breezes and great live music on Sunday evenings. Both guests and residents gather outside to wrap up summer weekends. Don’t miss one of the Island’s favorite summer activities!
Jazz in the Park
The Jazz in the Park series is sponsored by Golden Isles Arts & Humanities. Jazz in the Park is held at oceanfront Neptune Park (on the lawn in front of the casino). Dates are selected based on high tide evenings, so there is sure to be an ocean breeze!
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and free for kids under age 6
Guests bring chairs, blankets, food, friends and cocktails to enjoy the music!
A Little Light Music series is sponsored by the Coastal Georgia Historical Society and is held on the oceanfront lighthouse lawn

Sunday, June 29, 7pm – Jazz in the Park featuring Soul Gravy
This local band brings soul to St. Simons Island with a thundering rhythm section, smooth melodies and powerful vocals.
Sunday, July 6, 7pm – A Little Light Music featuring Mason Waters and the Groove Allstars
Local band playing perennial favorites. Danceability: high!
Sunday, July 13, 7pm – Jazz in the Park featuring Elisha “Atlas” Parris
World-renowned composer and master pianist brings his unique jazz style to St. Simons Island after his hit performance last year.
Sunday, July 20, 7pm – A Little Light Music featuring Victor Wainwright and the WildRoots
Powerhouse blues, Memphis soul and rockin’ piano.
Sunday, August 24, 7pm – Jazz in the Park featuring Sam Rodriguez Latin Jazz
This top percussionist has performed and recorded with a variety of artists including Anita Baker, Jennifer Holiday, Barry White and Gladys Knight.
Sunday, August 31, 7pm – A Little Light Music featuring the Sensational Sounds of Motown
Spend the evening rocking and rolling with Detroit’s finest sounds.
Sunday, September 21, 7pm – Jazz in the Park featuring Michael Hulett
Captivating saxophone and vocals
